This is a great market! The staff are super friendly and their prices are fair. Yes it is mostly hispanics that work there and english isn't the primary language if you are ok with that then I recommend stopping in. Fresh produce, basic gas station items, hot food, fruit juices, ice cream, and the best agua frescas around!

Love this market my hair stylist who is Cuban told I would find green plantains and frozen tostones. I was thrilled to find this hidden gem staff very friendly.

If you're in a pinch, and are looking for central American goodies or medications and groceries this is a great place to stop by. It's right on a corner, and is easily accessible. Unfortunately, it has A shared parking lot with el pollo loco, so parking it's a little tight. But it's worth stopping by.

El Zorro is a fantastic place to shop Central American food. You can find cheese, chorizos, plantains, ... And many more. Also, now they have dried fish, which is a tradition for the Passover. Parking can be an issue if you visit during busy hours, I go morning time and is easy to park. There is additional parking but you need to carry groceries all the way. Do not park at the pizza parking or car will be towed away. I drive down there whenever I feel I need authentic ethnic food products.

It's incredible in there. Spent everyday of our vacation hitting up separate liquor stores looking for my husband's beer type, and on our last night in California I find it here. There's so much stuff in there. My son found his batteries, my daughter found her candy and like I said I found his beer.

I'm a Puerto Rican from New Jersey. You can find Puerto Ricans and Puerto Rican markets by the butt load in NJ. LA, however? Not so much. Imagine my disappointment when I moved to LA and realized that 1) I can't find any other Puerto Ricans 2) Where can a girl get some green plantains and her goya products?! Well, Zorro has all of that! I didn't find this place until a couple of years ago, but it has been a key market when it comes to my typical Puerto Rican dishes. Since my move to LA, I was able to find the Mexican markets like Northgate and El Super that have SOME of the things I need, but El Zorro has it all. In order to make tostones, you need GREEN Plantains. Those are a rarity in the Mexican markets because Caribbean people are really the only ones that use the green plantains. You can find ripe plantains in a mountain, but green plantains, not so much. Zorro's got you covered. How about my east coasters who are used to the big avocados and not the small California ones? El Zorro's got you covered. Hey, Puerto Ricans, remember Coco Rico? A delicious coconut flavored soda made in Puerto Rico? El Zorro's got you covered. Plantain chips, yuca, goya galore, everything you need to make your pastelon, arroz con gandules and whatever else you need. You can also find whatever you may want from a typical Mexican/Central American market as well. There's a little something for everyone here. Parking lot is small, but I've always managed to find parking. Market is also small, but it's got everything I need!
